What to do if the microphone cannot be turned on

Browser permissions, device usage and common troubleshooting.

When the microphone cannot be turned on during practice, troubleshoot in the following order.

Troubleshooting steps

  1. Site Permissions: Use the browser address bar to check whether the microphone is allowed on this site; if you clicked "Deny", you need to change it back to allow in the site settings.
  2. Occupancy conflict: Close meetings, recordings, and calls in other browser tabs.
  3. Change browser: Prioritize the latest stable version of Chrome/Edge.
  4. System Permissions: Confirm that the microphone is available for the browser in the system settings of the mobile phone or computer.
  5. Network and Refresh: A weak network may cause the session to get stuck. Refresh or change the network and try again.
  6. Still not working: Go to the official website "Contact Us" to explain the device and browser version.

if…

  • Permission is turned on but there is still no waveform: Confirm that the system input device is selected correctly and turn off the mute key.
  • Only LINE is abnormal and the App is normal: Continue practicing based on the App, and report back any problems on the LINE side.
